Product Description
Slimline Coil Heat Exchangers are immersion-style fluoropolymer heat exchangers used in metal-finishing and chemical-processing applications. They are particularly suited to batch and continuous steel pickling processes. Compared with immersion coils manufactured from lower-grade fluoropolymer materials, Niche fluoropolymer tubing provides excellent resistance to corrosion and fouling, helping to reduce operating costs through reliable performance, lower maintenance requirements and extended service life.
Slimline heat exchangers are available with two tubing material options: standard FEP and Niche’s proprietary Q-Series resin, which is designed to extend pressure and temperature capability in demanding process conditions.
Q-Series Slimline coils improve thermal efficiency in steam-heating applications by reducing or eliminating the need for de-superheating. In metal-processing applications, high-efficiency Niche Slimline Coil™ Heat Exchangers can help reduce energy consumption, waste generation and processing costs by lowering acid consumption and reducing spent pickle liquor disposal requirements.
