VR-Trays

Widely used in Semiconductor, Opto-electronics and Telecommunication industries, vacuum tray technology provides a highly effective solution for extremely fragile and tiny products. This provides perfect tool to immobilize products during handling, processing, and shipping processes.

Our vacuum box (VR) provides secure transfer and transportation for your devices throughout the manufacturing and shipping processes. It is also easy to use, by simply applying a vacuum to the tray to release your delicate items.

The key element for Vacuum box technology relies on changing the contact surface area between the device and the elastic film in the tray. The changes for surface contact will directly affect the adhesive force. For extremely tiny and thin products (the thickness< 1mm), there are likely to be difficulties in releasing items with normal self-adhesive boxes. However, utilising a vacuum box will prevent this happening.

How is this done?

To release items from vacuum trays, simply just apply a vacuum to the box through a hole in the middle of bottom tray. This will make the film adhere to the bottom grids to the maximum level thereby minimising the contact surface between your stored item and the film, making it easy to remove the item from the box. Once vacuum is not applied, the elastic film will be back to the original place and strongly stick to the device. This process can be repeated for multiple times, therefore VR tray support repeat uses.
