Sky Vector FAQ's
How Fast does the Sky Vector fly?
The Sky Vector flies at over 25 MPH!
What is the range of the radio system? You
can fly the Sky Vector up to ½ MILE away but keep
in mind that the farther away the plane the harder
it is to see. You need to have the airplane close
enough to be able to see what it is doing. If you
can see the Sky Vector, you can control it.
What happens if the battery runs out of power
during flight?
The Sky Vector contains an auto-cutoff circuit
that automatically turns off the motor when the battery
pack runs low, yet leaves enough power for the flight
controls to safely glide the aircraft in for a landing.
What is a Dihedral wing? (show a picture of
the Sky Vector wing) Dihedral is the upward curvature
of the wing. This wing design increases stability
for easy flying.
What does RTF mean?
RTF stands for Ready-to Fly. This type of model is
all-inclusive and is ready for flight within 20 minutes
of opening the box!
How long does it take to assemble the Sky Vector?
To charge the battery pack?
It takes about 5 minutes to assemble the aircraft
(no tools required) and 2 hours to charge with the
standard charger and 15 minutes with the quick charger
accessory.
How long does the Sky Vector fly before the battery
needs recharging?
Depending on conditions, the Sky vector will fly approximately
minutes per flight at full speed, longer if you can
glide.
What type of wind conditions can the Sky Vector
be flown in?
We recommend not flying in winds over 10MPH.
How much room is needed to fly the Sky Vector?
We suggest a minimum area the size of two football
fields free of buildings, trees, wires or other obstructions.
What if the Sky Vector crashes?
Megatech carries each and every spare and replacement
part for the Sky Vector. Any damaged part can easily
be replaced!
