The super affordable Megapeak is a simple to operate, versatile peak charger featuring selectable 1, 2 or 4-amp charging modes and AutoSynth™ smart chip not only automatically senses how many cells are being charged, but also maintains constant high-speed sampling of the battery not only monitors things like voltage and charge condition, but also guards against annoying false peak shut-offs which have proven problematic when charging from an AC source. The MegaPeak is excellent for 4 to 8-cell Nicad or NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydride) packs. New microprocessor technology allows for extremely cool operating temperatures that are unprecedented in the hobby industry and give the MegaPeak its rugged and reliable reputation.
